reminds me of kingdom hearts for ps2;

in the part of the game when you meet jack skellington.

oh the memories

yay piano;

i'm a big fan of piano (and strings and choir), and i found this song so relaxing to listen to. i could definitely picture this playing in the background in mario 64, or in the menus or at least something!

i only wish you incorporated strings :(

Great start;

Awesome effects and great drum track you have running throughout the piece!

If i may suggest; add a killer drop and introduce a new melody and get some good wobbles goin :)

im diggin this;

i like the unique spin you put into this remix liquid, very well done :) my only concern is that it get's a bit repetitive.

5/5

Oakwood responds:

Yeah, I know it lacks variation a bit, but I didn't want it to be short, so I just became lazy and kept adding the same stuff :P
Thanks a lot!

i like this a lot;

please inform me when it's completed :3

Th0ma5 responds:

Sure thing!
I'll send you a PM with a link on where it will be placed:)
Thanks for the review!

very decent track;

it takes talent to create something like this, which is obviously shown by the authors. you did a great job remastering their work. hats off to you! :D your transitions are flawless and all the beats and synths are modern (which is awesome!)

keep up the amazing work :)

DeviBos responds:

Thanx for the AWESOME review man!! =D

in response to your description;

i leave you this:

very amazing intro;

i wish oh so much for the breakdown that is supposed to be after this :3

that progression...

sounds very very familiar. i believe it's known as the "magic chords". any song sounds good with it :)

i've never really listened to this genre much, so i can't offer advice specific to the genre, however i don't think its a bad start. the bass that comes in at 1:19 sounds a bit scratchy/unmastered. i'd try getting that part of the song mastered so it's more of a true wobble, otherwise your buildups are great, and the voice that comes in at the peak of each one tops them off :)

the ending was good, i like songs that have a unique ending as opposed to just fading out or something else all too common.

keep up the great work :)

it's supposed to be repetitive, right?

im not really too keen on the difference between house, trance, and the lot; but I know a couple of them are supposed to take a long entrance.

not my type of genre, but i feel it's a good start. the plucking synth that comes in at :50 sounded great, that was a pretty good buildup, however when it climaxed.. nothing really came afterwards. I seem to have that same problem with writing my own music so i can understand how it's difficult to think of something to fill the void after an epic buildup.

nonetheless, a very good start to a genre unknown to me. 9/9. 5/5. keep up the work man :)

My passion is writing music. Feel free to use any of my tracks - just shoot me a message with the final product.
